Maggie and her daddy were sitting in a box blind overlooking a food plot that this buck had frequented since he was a 2.5-year-old. At 7:10pm he stepped out of the planted pines that surrounded the food plot and worked a scrape. He steadily closed the distance until he was 75 yards away. Maggie made a great shot with a 6mm ARC her Paw Paw had built for her and the buck ran back into the planted pines where he had come from. We called Chad Yoder and his dogs to ensure a quick recovery as it is very thick in the pines. Maggie started going hunting with her daddy when she was a still in diapers. She was able to harvest two nice bucks and a doe last season and this is her second buck this season. Maggie helps with all the land and wildlife management that goes on at our farm and we are so proud that all her hard work was rewarded with this magnificent buck.
