Hunt Story
Maddox had decided even with all the rain in the area we would go ahead and try to hunt. We had a blind placed on a saddle. About 20 minutes before daylight we had deer move through we could here them walking right beside us. Around 8 a.m. we had two does come in, but they stayed in the thicks and never offered a shot. Maddox was a little disappointed seeing that they were the first deer in two days of hunting. Twenty minutes after they left the buck showed up. He gave us a good stare down for a few minutes then came closer and began to follow the script. He passed into the shooting lane at 25 yards and turned quartering away. Maddox made a perfect shot that began his high of killing your first deer.
