Hunt Story
This was Mac's first hunt of the year, and first hunt ever with a gun. The plan was to shoot a doe if one presented a shot. At 5:00, a doe walked out and Mac placed a perfect shot. The doe only ran 10 yards and died. He was so excited that he about jumped out of the blind, but I encouraged him to sit tight and keep hunting. Thirty minutes later this buck stepped out at 150 yards. Within 5 minutes he had made his way to within 50 yards. Mac made another perfect shot. Not sure who was happier, father or son?
