Hunt Story

I was sitting in my stand and enjoying a calm and cold morning. I had not seen anything but a few squirrels. I wasn't seeing or hearing anything, so i decided to grunt three times. After I grunted, I scanned the area to see if anything was coming in. I looked over my right shoulder just to see if something was going to come off hill. I couldn't believe it, there was a big bodied deer with a huge neck. I was so excited and then I saw its antlers and decided that it was a nice shooter as my first buck with a bow. He came trotting in and I waited till he got at about 18 yards. He passed a tree that I marked for 20, so I drew back and settled the pin right behind is shoulder as I grunted to stop him. He stopped, I shot and thwack! the arrow went right through him. 20 minutes later we found my buck at the bottom the drainage. My dad and sister helped drag my trophy out. Lynz
