Hunt Story
I got in the stand with my Dad well before daylight. We heard a lot of movement all around us before it got light enough to see. Once it was light enough to see, we saw a buck chasing some does. It was a 7 pointer. Shortly after, an 8 pointer came in and made a scrape right behind the stand. He walked toward the other buck and started rubbing and thrashing a tree. Then a 9 pointer came from the other direction and all 3 bucks were in front of us. We saw them rubbing, scraping and one even snort/wheezed a couple of times. The bucks kept going out of sight and then would come back over and over. After the 8 pointer made a 4th pass by the stand, I decided it was time to shoot! I dropped him in his tracks at 27 yards for my first buck ever.
