Hunt Story
it was a cold morning and we decided to get in the stand a little late due to the moon. I got in the stand at 8 a.m. I hit the grunt tube 3 times and then used my rattling horns. As I was putting my rattling horns down on the floor of the box stand, I looked up and the buck was standing 70 yards away in the food plot. He was coming toward me. He stopped walking and looked around and gave me a broadside shot. As soon as I shot, I saw him kick and start to run. He made it to the ditch and went down but never came up the other side. I called my Dad from the stand right after I shot!
