Hunt Story
Lily's first deer ever, first hunt of the season. We were hunting an open spot in the woods next to a pond. She was so excited but could not sit still. I turned around to look up the hill and noticed the buck crossing the little road in the woods. She saw it, too. She said, "Dad I'm going to shoot that buck." I was smiling ear to ear. She got down on her knee with me helping her hold the gun against her shoulder. She looked at me and said, "Are you ready?" She pulled the trigger. The buck fell right in its tracks. I am a proud Daddy.
