Hunt Story
Got into the stand with my dad around 4:15. We had seen six does, a nice 8-point and a smaller buck along with six turkeys. I decided to pass on the 8-point, and it paid off as this deer walked out on the opposite end of the clearing to begin checking up on the does that were in the field. He presented me a good broadside shot at about 50 yards and only ran about another 50 yards into the hardwoods.
