Hunt Story
Levi and I were sitting in a double stand together. We got in at about 4:00, and within 10 minutes two does were headed our way. As we watched them two more does joined for a total of four. One was a good sized doe, so Levi was setting up on her. Then out of no where this buck came barging in, he actually butted one of the does with his horn. Levi scoped him and pulled the trigger only to hear a click! Bad bullet! I then had to lever him another cartridge into the chamber as quietly as possible. He then made a quick perfectly placed lung shot. The buck ran about 50 yards and crashed. He was shaking like a leaf and so was I. Great moment with my son.
