Hunt Story
I saw this buck 3x before harvesting him. All three times with bow in hand. He never came close enough the first two times. On my third encounter I had him at 28 yards and was about to take the shot but had a limb in the way. All he had to do was take one more step forward. But like all big mature bucks, his 6th sense kicked in, and he turned straight away and walked off. But this time I took the boom stick with me for insurance. Although I would of loved to take him with my bow since I am a bowhunter at heart, I am very happy to harvest such a mature buck and biggest my to date.
