Hunt Story
I was hunting with my daughter the Friday after Thanksgiving. We had been in the stand 1 1/2 hours when we saw a deer cross in the food plot in front of us. I told her to get ready in case it circled around to us. Right after that a doe bolted across the food plot from the woods he just went into. I grabbed my grunt call and told her to get her gun up. A few seconds later he tried to cross, and I grunted at him. He stopped and I told her to shoot. She said her gun was on safety, so I told her to take it off and shoot. She then made a great shot that pretty much dropped the buck in his tracks. She was so excited she could hardly stand it. I was very proud of her to say the least!
