Hunt Story
I had just passed up a nice 8-point. And was wishing I would’ve shot it. So about 30 minutes later this buck stepped out, well he was going away from me so I grunted at him and he stopped, so I softly grunted 2 more times. He didn’t like me grunting, so he snorts wheezed and came straight to my tree, I shot him at about 12 yards and heard him go down at about 50 yards. Very great encounter. He weighed 234 live and 192 dressed. To top it off my son killed one on the same WMA a little later that day. He’s entering his also a 142-inch 10-point.
