Hunt Story
We had a good wind to hunt a food plot on Sunday so I thought it would be a great chance for me to get my first deer with a bow. We had decided to shoot the first doe that gave us a chance. We had a doe and yearling come in the plot first and decided to pass since the yearling was there. A few minutes later we heard some grunts come from the thicket. When he stepped out there was no doubt he was mature and became our target. After a few minutes of bumping the doe around he gave me an 18-yard shot and I smoked him! He ran 50 yards and piled up! He was 5+ yrs old and weighed 215 pounds!
