I have been watching this buck come in for about six weeks. He was pretty regular for at least 2-3 mornings a week. I knew I had to get in early so I would not disturb his pattern. He came in with 3 does. I watched for a while because the does would be in the way. After about 20 minutes a 6-pointer came in. I was afraid he would mess up my hunt. I prayed for the does to walk away so I could get a clean shot. It was about 3 minutes later my prayer was answered. I fired and he fell in his tracks. He never ran or even jumped. I stayed in the tower for about 30 minutes because my legs would not let me climb down.
