Hunt Story
We were hunting in a ladder stand overlooking some scrapes. About 30 minutes before dark, my dad spotted the buck about 75 yards away walking to our left. I was able to get my gun on him and shoot just before he disappeared into the pines. We looked for the deer for about an hour before we found it in a pond about 300 yards from where I had shot him. The deer was still alive and we left it alone. My dad came back about 830 pm and waded into the pond where he found it floating in the water.
