Hunt Story
I hung this stand in July of 2016. The stand was between the bedding area and the food source in some hardwoods. I knew there was a good deer using the area but had never saw him before. This hunt was only my second time ever sitting this stand. I first saw him at 50 yards, heading my way. I passed him at 35 yards with my bow. He was gone for about 20 minutes. Then he hit my sent trail where I had used some Tinks 69. He came right back to me and gave me a better look at him, this is when I realized he was an older deer and better than I had thought. I shot him at 8 yards with my Matthews No Cam. He never made another step. My best bow buck.
