Hunt Story
I've been hunting this buck for four years. He is blind in his left eye, and has always had a rather funky rack on his right side, possibly due to that injury. He's always been unmistakable on trail cam pics, as he hardly ever showed in daylight. On the afternoon of the 19th, he came trailing a doe and just watched her feed as he held tight in the timber. I was able to make a 34-yard shot and heard him crash so I knew it was a done deal. I really never thought I'd have a chance at this buck as old as he was and as infrequently he ever showed. Good close to a 4-year journey.
