Hunt Story
Son and grandson arrived at stand before dawn on a coldest mornings of year so far. After about an hour, this buck came walking out of thicket right under the stand. Lil Buddy, as we call Kirk, had to wait for the buck to scan the area before the deer finally moved out from under stand to about 40 yards for a clean shot. The deer ran about 30 yards after shot and was down. First deer ever for Lil Buddy, and he was so excited. Hooked him good.
