Hunt Story
After watching a couple of young deer filter through browsing on acorns, I scanned to my right to where the deer usually come from and noticed movement. As I grabbed my son's gun to take a closer look, I observed that it was a shooter! As I got him into position to take a shot, the deer was steadily closing the distance. The buck presented him with a broadside shot at 20 yards. The 260 that I shot my entire childhood “which now is his” hit it’s mark as it always has. The buck ran approximately 20 yards and expired. He isn’t quite the buck the he shot last year with his crossbow but by far another buck of a lifetime. Thankful to have shared this experience with him and look forward to many more.
