Hunt Story
I decided to hunt a spot and have hunted before. I walked in around 4:30 looking for scrapes and acorns. After changing directions three times and not finding much deer sign, I decided to just climb a treehouse and sit before it got too late. Around 5:55 I heard a limb break behind me and turned around and there he was. He was rubbing his head on limbs above a scrape that I didn’t notice was there until then. After watching him about 5 minutes, I finally got a 30-yard shot and let a arrow fly. I saw him run off and heard him crash in the bottom. I decided to get down before dark and look for him and found him about 120 yards away. It’s definitely a hunt I will remember.
