Back before archery season, I set up this new spot with my climber. Work and other chores got in the way of being able to hunt this spot. Fast forward to this past week as I arrived to our property in Jenkins County on Thursday. That afternoon I was able to slip back to the spot and throw up a Tactacam on a scrape line. Saturday morning the wind was not right to hunt in the bottom so I chose a different spot. Low and behold at 7:38 a.m. a nice shooter buck came by cruising the scrape line. Looking at the wind I knew today would be my chance and it turned out to be!! This super 9-point came out 60 yards in front of the stand walking the scrape line and at 8:08 a.m. I harvested him with my .350 legend Ruger American. I love GON, chasing big whitetails and just enjoying mother nature!
