Hunt Story
Five months of hunting season came down to the last 45 minutes. Despite chasing several giant bucks throughout the season, things just never fell into place. Lost hunting permission, bucks disappearing, and hunting pressure made this season one of the toughest in recent memory. For most of December and January, I was focused on a big 12-pointer he named Double G. After playing cat and mouse for two months, Double G’s running buddy finally presented a daytime opportunity with 45 minutes of light left on the last afternoon of the season. What an unbelievable blessing this was, and what an emotional ending to the season.
