Hunt Story
I had this deer locked down with Buck Muscle since last month and had been waiting for him to daylight before hunting him. As soon as he did, I slipped in the woods and sweated it out in my Sad Daddy Hunting Blind. It wasn't the best wind but I was able to cheat it in that blind! I saw him for the first time at 7:00 PM and shot him at 30 yards in a big pile of Buck Muscle at 7:30. Since I'm not as good of a shot as my wife, we put dogs on him and was able to recover him six hours later. My wife and I are feeling very blessed to have harvested two beautiful bucks in the 40s within six days of each other and are VERY appreciative of the friends and family that surround us!
