Hunt Story

Where do I start! It was a beautiful morning with some occasional wind. Started out with a few deer eating in the food plot near my corn feeder. It was a spike and a couple of button heads. Then a little later a couple of does came over from the hard woods and joined the rest of them. I had put some doe in estrus scent about 35 yards in front of my tower stand. Meanwhile, the does started to leave the food plot and walked back into the woods headed directly behind me. I had a feeling that something was about to happen. I sent my farther in law a text telling him that I was going to hunt later than we said. Patience pace off! Here he came, standing tall to my left, right out of the hardwoods! Yes! Then like that, I looked at him with a beating heart, pulled the trigger. In my disbelief I thought I may have missed him! Long story short...he ran about 50 yards and dropped in a ditch. Very blessed!
