I was hunting in an old barn that morning and the sun was in my face. It was a cold morning and I had all my layers and thermals on. The buck came out at the bottom of the field about 300 yards out but I had no clue because the sun was in my eyes. It got within 200 yards and all I could see was horns so I knew it was a mature buck. It was moving right along up the fence line. I grunted and got it to stop broadside and shot right before it jumped the fence. it went about 30 yards and fell.
