Hunt Story
I had recently seen signs of the second rut on the property. On the weekend prior to this hunt, I had two bucks fighting about 30 yards from my stand and I found several fresh rubs and scrapes. This was the first time that I tried rattling this season, so I began rattling a series of rattles about every 15 minutes. On the third round of rattling, this buck came in fast and I dropped him in his tracks.
