Hunt Story
We have been seeing this deer on trail camera for a week. I had been in California for work and my 10-year-old was itching to get out there. As soon as I got back it was raining all day Saturday, so first chance was Sunday morning. We got in well before daylight and not long after daylight a spike came through checking scrapes. He went on his was and to our right we spotted two does. While watching them this buck snuck up from our left and was making a scrape when we spotted him we had to wait a few mins for the right shot and Kayson hit his mark. The deer ran about 50 yards off a hill. We waited an hour before we got down and the 300 black out did its job and the tracking job was easy. His biggest buck to date.
