Hunt Story
I have been at college for most of the season and hadn't been in the woods since bow season. I got home in time Sunday the 18th to go that afternoon. I got in my stand around 4:15 p.m. Right at 5 p.m. I was looking behind me to my left, and when I eased back around I saw the buck just off to my right. I took the shot. He ran off into the swamp but only went about 100 yards. We found him in the swamp in the middle of the creek.
