Hunt Story
After 14 straight days of rain, I was determined to get in a few hours of hunting. The rain broke around 3:30, so I set out to hunt. The misty weather kept the deer bedded down, and the sun was setting. When I told my favorite guide (aka husband) I had not seen any deer all day, he helped a girl out and grunted a few times from about 30 yards away. Within 5 minutes this nice 9-pointer came out of the hardwoods to see who was in his territory. I took him down with one clean shot.
