Hunt Story
Got to leased property around lunch, climbed in stand @3 pm. First deer walked out at 3:09 pm. Same deer stayed until buck walked out at 5:10. Rushed shot and got extremely lucky. Hit him through the bottom jaw into the neck. He ran back into pines where he came from. Tracked him for about 30 minutes. Walked up on him bedded down looking at us. Went back to truck to get a gun. After about 20 minutes I came back and finally delivered a lethal shot kill shot. Realized how tall and wide he actually was when I got my hands on him. Measured 20 1/8th inches inside.
