Hunt Story
I had pictures of this deer once last year on Dec. 5th 2018 and once this year on Oct. 30th 2019. I came up from Florida last Friday night specifically to try and kill this deer. My plan was to sit the same stand all three days I could be up in hopes of getting a chance at him. I saw a lot of does and a few small bucks along with a young 120s 10-point that I had let walk three times. After Saturday's morning hunt I went and picked up some 4S Draw and corn and spread it through the area I was concentrating on. Sunday afternoon was warm and I didn't start seeing deer till about 4:45 p.m., I had two does coming from my right feeding, and then 5 minutes later I had seven does come in feeding from my left along with that young 10-point. I watched him make a scrape and work a licking branch and then chased the does off. They began feeding back toward me, and that's when the big 10 showed up behind one of the does. I got the hunt on video while self filming. It is my best buck to date, scoring 161 7/8 inches!
