Hunt Story
Got settled in and really didn't expect to see another shooter after shooting one seven days prior. However around 7:20 AM I heard squirrels going crazy down the creek bottom. After a few minutes I caught a glimpse of a deer headed my way. Once I saw what it was the pressure built. He slipped into a thicket and started rubbing trees and made a scrape. I didn't have shot at the time. It was going through my mind that he was going to slip away, so I started planning my next attempt to shoot if he continued to move on the same track. He did, and luckily I was able to stop him and take the shot. He went about 50 yards and piled up in the creek.
