Hunt Story
I shot a buck last year but I hit him super high and he didn’t die. We’ve been getting pictures of him this year but hadn’t seen him any. But that afternoon my dad saw him in some tall grass, so I got the binoculars and it was the same deer! There was another buck behind him but I couldn’t get a good look at him. They started to walk away so my dad started grunting, and my buck walked out and I shot him at 40 yards. I hit way back but I think I hit an artery that runs back there. We decided to back out since it wasn’t a great shot and we went back the next morning and put our tracking dog on him and found him about 150 yards away!!
