Hunt Story
This deer had just started to show up on this particular plot in the past 2 weeks. No summer pics of him at all. I got in stand around 5 and had not been in long and a doe and yearling showed up. Soon after a 3-year-old 9-point came in and bumped the doe a little. Then he bristled up and turned to a young 8 point coming into the plot. Then the 9-point pushed the does out of the plot. Not long after I saw a couple foes come back into the plot about the same spot the 9 point had pushed them out. So when I noticed a buck behind them I assumed it was him but as soon as he got into the plot I knew immediately which deer it was. I shot him and he turned and ran towards me and stopped at about 60 yards and just looked around, not being sure I shot him again but as it turns out the first shot was perfect. Needless to say I was stoked and he will be my biggest buck to date.
