Hunt Story
We hunt a secluded area of Lake Spivey, GA. I was fortunate enough to begin watching this deer in the spring. He showed up regularly throughout the summer and heading into fall had broken from his bachelor group. I wanted to hunt the deer opening day, however the wind conditions were not good for my setup. I waited for the wind to shift for an optimal hunt, having patterned the deer in the late evenings. I was fortunate enough to get just the right conditions and hunted midmorning through evening. Getting a great shot, I hit the deer and he ran only 60 yards. Another great Clayton County deer down, one happy hunter.
