Hunt Story
My Dad and I woke up early for my first ever morning hunt. Right at daybreak, we finally got settled in the stand. Three does came out into the clear-cut right in-front of us. Shortly after, a young 8-pointer followed them, but I passed on him to let him grow. About 30 minutes later I heard a buck down to my left that made his way in-front of us, but we couldn't get him to stop for a shot. My dad was grunting at this buck when 10 minutes later this 11-pointer came from our right to the grunt. It took him a while to get into shooting range then he stopped to eat so I shot him. He dropped like a sack of potatoes.
