Hunt Story

Got up at 4:30 to go deer hunting. It was foggy. Got to the hunting club, and my daddy (Brinkley Turner) drove me to my ground blind, which is called the 8-point Stand. I got out and got in my ground blind, took a little nap, woke up, and saw two does in front of my blind. Then I saw an 8-point walk up to the does. He chased one of the does. I was nervous. Then I took a deep breath and let some air out, and that is when I shot. I have always been told to say in the ground blind until someone comes to get me. I saw there until my daddy got there. Then we went to see the buck I had shot. My daddy was proud of me. This was my first buck I have shot. I shot my buck at 6:52 a.m. and his weight was 152 pounds. I love to to the woods and hunt.
