Hunt Story

I was hunting with my dad, it was our first hunt of the season. We had not been there long when I saw the deer coming straight toward us. I told him I see a deer, and he slid me the gun. We could see it was a buck, but he appeared nervous because he probably saw us move. He turned broadside at 60 yards, and I made the shot. We waited a few minutes and went to check for blood, not seeing any at first we went back to the blind and waited about 30 minutes. After discussing the situation we decided to go a little farther down the trail and that's where we found the blood. Following the trail was hard and there wasn't a lot of blood but about 50 yards we found him. I am glad I got this opportunity to spend time in the outdoors and harvest a wonderful deer and wish my sister the best of luck as she will try to harvest her a deer this year.
