Hunt Story
I've had several encounters with this buck and was finally able to take him on Monday the 10th. He showed up on camera mid September and has been a regular on several cameras but mostly at night. The river being flooded pushed him out of where I think he typically beds, and he was early to the food source. Killed a boar as soon as I got to the food plot, and 20 minutes later a smaller eight came in. Less than a minute later this buck just appeared in the food plot. At the shot he turned and ran out of the plot. Went home and waited on my father in law to get there. We found no blood, but he was laying 20 yards off the edge of the food plot in the edge of the overgrown field. Thankful to the good Lord for having the opportunity to hunt and to be able to harvest such a beautiful buck.
