Hunt Story
Evening hunt on a food plot of radishes. A doe came out, with a spike harassing her. Then the 8-point stepped out, and the spike had a look on his face like "Oh, heck no. I'm outta here!" and ran off. The big buck pinned his ears back and raised his hair and started toward the spike. He looked real big, and I took the shot. The buck weighed 223 pounds, and after we got the hide off him my taxidermist and I agree that he was 6 1/2 years old.
