Hunt Story
Wasn’t a lot of movement on this evening, he was the only deer I saw. About ten minutes after 5 I hit a can call and a grunt, and about 15 seconds later I caught movement on one of the scrapes. Put the binoculars on it and could see tines hitting the licking branch over the scrape. He then continued down the logging road to the second scrape. He showed it a little attention but not as much as the first. He then proceeded down the logging road to 13 yards in front of me and I took the shot. He ran about 50 yards and expired.
