Hunt Story
Slow morning. Had only seen two solo does during the hunt. Very slight breeze from over my shoulder. Both does fed, then got downwind from me, were not happy, and left the area quickly. Direction of the breeze changed to cross left to right. Thirty minutes later this buck came in TO FEED! Came out of the same spot the does had gone into earlier. I shot him at 25 yards out. He ran only 25 yards. I did not realize he had as much junk on his head until I got down. Small framed rack (only 15 inches inside). Had an additional point coming off G2, but not an inch long officially. Good mass. I'll take it!
