Hunt Story

I was watching 3 does grazing in the food plot when I heard a deer moving in the thick clear cut. A few minutes later he stepped out and the does decided to leave. The buck took about three steps into the food plot and I was able to shoot him at 24 yards. I hit him a few inches behind the crease of the shoulder and he took off full speed. My arrow didn't pass through and I could see it dangling out of him as he ran off. We found him about 130 yards away on the edge of a creek. I shoot Rage 2.3 no-collar expandables with a cut-on-contact tip and that's the first time that my arrow hasn't passed through just the rib cage, but he still left a good blood trail.
