Hunt Story

I was hunting the edge of a pine thicket and a creek bottom. At around 7:30 a.m. I saw my buck and a spike come out of the thicket about 75 yards away. They browsed around for about 10 minutes and the spike left out toward the creek, and the buck that I shot went back into the thicket. I grunted a few times and sat down for about 15 minutes. He suddenly appeared about 25 yards to my left. I stood up and drew back and shot. I think my hoodie interfered with my shot. I hit him in the spine and he dropped. After an immediate second shot he was dead.
