Hunt Story
Nice cool morning. Saw several younger bucks cruising before I saw him, and he was on the move when I did catch a glimpse of him. Almost didn't get a shot; he stopped at about 150 yards out and just a step away from being out of my sight. Had a few trail-cam pics of him, but no daytime photos. Aged him at 5.5 years old. 18" inside, 23" main beams. Gross green score of 143" as an 8 point — but he has the 3 abnormals (character points) that can only be deducted....
