Hunt Story
I'm what they call "the weekend warrior" because I only get to GA to hunt in the weekends so typically only hunt Saturday and Sunday AM....after a frustrating hunt the day before, got into the stand a little after daylight...watched a 4-point buck pass by stand to the right and another buck about 100 yards out...Was getting antsy and ready to get out of the stand at 10 am when all of a sudden this nice 8-point comes out right in front of my stand about 30 yards...my husband has seen this deer on camera for about three years was only a 7-point then...shot and dropped him 🙂 full of excitement and still shaking my husband and step daughter come to pick me and the deer up...she tells me that they saw the same deer earlier in the am and she couldn't get a shot 🙁 so I have named this deer "The Hannah Deer" for my stepdaughter 🙂
