Hunt Story
Got to the stand about 4:45, and by 5:00 p.m. I had a buck out in the field I had many trail cam pics of. He was a nice 8-point, but he had already shed half his rack. So I decided to wait and see if any more deer would come out . By 5:15 I had five more small bucks out in the field ranging from a spike to a 6-point. Still no shooters, but it was neat seeing so many bucks together. Few more minutes went by and a big buck stepped out in to the edge of the field. I waited about 10 minutes before I took my shot. I knew this buck as I had many pics of him in this field from the summer and early season. Took about 175-yard shot and dropped him in his tracks. He is my biggest buck to date.
