Hunt Story
On Nov. 5, I went hunting on my land in Social Circle with my friend Len Sheats. It was a foggy, overcast morning, and the buck came out checking scrapes. Couldn't tell how big he was because of the fog. He kept coming my way checking scrapes on an old road. At about 50 yards I took the shot with my son's 7mm08. He was so happy when I told him I decided to take his gun instead of mine. Very great hunt, saw three does on the same road before he showed up.
