Hunt Story
I have some great history with this buck; I actually shot him opening day of bow season, he "jumped the string" at 41 yards and I hit him high through the back straps. I've gotten numerous nighttime pictures of him since September, but finally on 11/22 he was chasing does and my cellular camera sent me a picture of him at 9:55 a.m. I asked a good friend to come up and hunt with me and told him we had the big 8 on camera during daylight. This morning he was chasing a doe along with another smaller 8. I could hear them running up and down the creek for 10 minutes before finally popping out into the cutover I was hunting. I stopped him at about 100 yards and he dropped in his tracks. I texted my buddy and told him the "boogeyman" as we called him was down!
