Hunt Story
A few friends and I finally decided to use some priority points to go on the state park hunt at FD Roosevelt. I climbed on a hillside between a creek and a ridge. At 8:20 this buck chased a doe in and stopped giving me a broadside shot. I hit him just behind the shoulder but he ran, turning straight up the hill towards me. I made a second shot that went straight through the base of his antlers, hitting him in the neck dropping him in his tracks. Leaving a perfect hole in the antlers.
